Chef Sharon Van Meter of Beckley 1115 has curated a group of chefs for the occasion, scheduled for 7-9 p.m. March 23.

Junior Borges of Meridian, located at The Village, and John Tesar of Knife Dallas, located at The Highland, are among the chefs participating in the VIP experience. This sold-out experience offers ticket holders take-home swag, early garden entry, a champagne tower, a signature cocktail, exclusive wine and food tastings and a wine goblet.

Several other East Dallas restaurants are sending representatives for all other attendees. They include: Josh Healy for Cane Rosso; Sean Jett for Humble: Simply Good Pies; Arturo Hernandez for Loro; Paula Lambert and Meaders Ozarow for Mozzarella Company and Empire Baking Co.; Misti Norris for Petra & the Beast; and Justin Wern for Garden Cafe.

Lakewood Brewing, Oak Highlands Brewery and White Rock Alehouse & Brewery will also be at the event.

The arboretum is hosting a garden market 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 25-26, where local vendors will be selling their products, with a portion of proceeds benefitting the garden.

Tickets to the food and wine festival cost $149 for non-members and $129 for members.
