Good news — the wait is over.

Humble owners announced on Facebook Wednesday that they will be selling pies all day, until they run out.

“Eight long, long months. we’ve learned that literally the only thing in our control is the pie. So today, we serve pie!” the owners wrote.

“Chef Sean has been back in the kitchen the last two days baking some of our favorites — Chocolate Cream, Coconut Cream, Batou Goo, Damn Fine Cherry, Texas Pecan, Boutbon Chocolate Pecan, Buttermilk Chess and (my all time favorite) French Blackbottom.

Our French Blackbottom and Lemon Ice Box pies as well as our cookies are all gluten free (and you’d never know)!

We will be here til we sell out this evening. ❤️ We are so very excited to welcome you all back to the little shop.” —Erin Jett for Humble: Simple Good Pies, Facebook

“The support from the neighborhood has been amazing,” Sean Jett, who owns the shop with his wife Erin, told the Advocate during reconstruction.

“We absolutely couldn’t have done any of this without all of you — our friends that have become family,” the Jetts posted on Facebook.

Last March, a cigarette reportedly started the fire outside the Garland Road shop, and the resulting blaze left the restaurant, which opened in 2018, inoperable.
