Empire Baking Company is opening a second location in our neighborhood this spring, CultureMap reported.
The bakery will be located at its wholesale production site at 5614 E. University Blvd.
The menu will be smaller because of the smaller space, but it will sell the same breads, pastries, cookies, coffee and sandwiches at the new facility, co-owner Meaders Ozarow told CultureMap.
The location will also sell research and development items that Empire would not take to the store on Lovers Lane in northwest Dallas.
