Corresponding with the anniversary, the brewery unveiled a new kitchen serving food and updated indoor and outdoor spaces.

“Nothing complements beer like good food, and nothing complements food like good beer,” says Lakewood Brewing Co. co-founder Wim Bens. “We made sure that the quality of our kitchen matches the quality of our beers and are looking forward to welcoming everyone to our renovated indoor and outdoor spaces to create memories for another 10 years.”

Bens and his wife, Brenda Busch, live with their family in East Dallas. Their company is known for its Temptress Imperial Milk Stout.

Visitors to the brewery can now order appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and sweets. Several menu items are made with or feature Lakewood Brewing’s beers. For example, jalapeño queso is made with Lakewood Lager, and the Bavarian pretzel is served with Tangerine Queen pub cheese and Temptress mustard.

Items are available via catering as well.

Outside, guests can play foosball, cornhole, darts and giant Jenga. There’s also updated seating, shade features and a mural that almost covers one side of the brewery. Inside, the taproom has new booths, communal tables and more comfortable seating. A speakeasy-inspired “Lakewood Loft” is available as a private event space.
