Lakewood Shopping Center is asking for canned foods, which they’ll donate to the Woodrow Community Peace Pantry.

Canned goods can be dropped off to any of the following locations in the shopping center: Capital Title Lakewood, 20/20 Sight, Compass, CVS Pharmacy, Fajita Pete’s, Faulkner’s Fine Dry Cleaning, Free My Music, Freeze Cryotherapy, Hotworx, M Salon, Lakewood Donut, Liberty Burger, Orangetheory, Roots Market & Juicery, Snowbaby, Unleavened and Yogurtland.

The drive ends Nov. 28.

Here are some of the needs: canned vegetables (corn, green beans, peas), canned fruit, canned tuna and chicken, ravioli pop tops, canned soup, chili, beans, pasta, pasta sauces in plastic or cans, Suddenly Salad mixes, mashed potato packets, rice packets or small bags, boxed mac and cheese, cereal boxes, oatmeal packets, granola bars, peanut butter, jelly, Hormel complete meals, ramen packets and just-add-water pancake mix.

The Woodrow Community Peace Pantry serves the students of Woodrow Wilson High School, providing food and clothing. The nonprofit has also set up pantries at other neighborhood schools and locations.
