The V Spot on North Henderson has closed. The landlord claims owner Delia Pisarro owes more than $56,000 in back rent. Pisarro has said she plans to open another V Spot in the Montrose district of Houston.

The Mecca is open in Lakewood.

Restaurateur Nick Badovinus closed Neighborhood Services on North Henderson and replaced it with another concept, Tried and True. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, tacos and bar snacks, along with nine Texas beers on tap and some 60 whiskeys.
