Biggers is working on a new project, his first Lower Greenville mural located along the side wall of Wells Fargo Bank at 1931 Greenville Ave. The mural will pay tribute to the Dallas Stars hockey team, celebrating the teams debut in the playoff series starting Saturday, April 20.

Biggers was hired to work by Muros, a Chicago-based art activation agency whose clients include the stars. The agency asked him to execute the mural at the location, he began the art process earlier in the week.

The once bare wall will now highlight the Dallas team. The artwork displays four hockey players in Dallas Stars uniform gliding over the moon with a green galaxy behind them.

As of Wednesday, there is no official launch date for the project; however, the mural is nearing completion and will be finished by Thursday.

Over the past 24 hours, he and his collaborator have spent consecutive hours decorating the wall, only pausing for the rain.

It was a quick turnaround for Biggers as most of his projects take anywhere from days to weeks to complete.

So how does he do it?

First, it starts with Biggers getting up as early as 6 a.m., loading his vehicle with cones and spray cans, then driving to the location to begin painting promptly at 8 a.m.

Once he’s met his canvas, he starts with a doodle grid to help outline the project. Full of scribbles, lines, numbers, shapes and letters, the doodles may appear confusing, but for Biggers, it’s a clear path.

Around Dallas, you can find Biggers work in Deep Ellum, West Dallas and Oak Cliff.

Although he is unable to share future projects, Biggers told the Advocate to keep an eye out for announcements and updates.
