The chamber presents the honor to teachers of kindergarten through 12th grade who are “providing outstanding education for their respective students.” Recipients must have contributed toward “innovative, unique and novel programs that are serving to improve and promote education.”

Nominations are accepted now through March 31.

The chamber will give six awards to public and private elementary-, middle- and high-school teachers. Both teachers and their school will receive $250. An award luncheon is scheduled for April 21 at St. John’s Episcopal School.

Submit nominations here.
