After 15 years in Lakewood Towers at Gaston and Abrams, Rocket Science Salon is now open at their new location on 9010 Garland Road.
Owner Lee Ann Lage is thrilled about the new location, saying that neighbors have been very welcoming. After her lease was up at the previous location, Lage was excited to have the opportunity to move to a larger and more visible location on Garland Road.
According to Lage, there have been more walk-ins in the past five weeks than in the past five years at their former Lakewood Towers location.
Architect Rick Wright of Lakewood Heights designed the interior of Rocket Science Salon’s new location. It is filled with natural light and has a secluded area for spa and massage clients with a separate bathroom that is set apart from the hustle and bustle of the hair salon.
Along with their usual spa and salon services, Rocket Science offers “food quality,” certified organic hair and makeup products, including lipstick that is entirely made of flowers. Walk-ins are welcome and the number for booking appointments hasn’t changed.
