rosie_filmBefore launching into the weekend round up, I’ve got a couple of things happening tonight you should definitely know about. Unfortunately, you’ll have to decide between the two, and it’s a tough choice. First, for a little food for the body and for the soul, a dinner to benefit the Promise of Peace Community Garden is tonight from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Central 214. Also, there’s a waiting list for the free screening of Miss Representation tonight, but if you call soon, you might be able to squeeze in. Reservations are required, so give a shout to 214.525.5314.

imgresAnother event this weekend you don’t want to miss is the Human Rights DocU Film Festival at Angelika Film Center & Cafe in Mockingbird Station. Tickets for the annual event are $10 each or $24 for a weekend pass. Click for more.
