The Dallas Park and Recreation maintenance team is cleaning up White Rock Lake today.
Storms overnight downed some trees behind the Dallas Arboretum, the District 9 Park Board member said in an email.
Forestry staff is working on a tree at Dreyfuss Point that was identified over the weekend. See it in the photo below.

Native Plants and Prairies Day is coming up May 7 at the Bath House Cultural Center. Columnist Patti Vinson wrote about the event in our May issue. Read her story here.
Exhibits for Dallas Arts Month are now closed at the Bath House, but art can still be seen at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center and South Dallas Cultural Center.
The next White Rock Lake Task Force meeting is at 4 p.m. May 10 at Winfrey Point.
