In an unforeseen turn of events, Jollibee, a global fast-food chain, announced Tuesday that the restaurant’s grand opening on Wednesday was delayed to Friday, Dec. 1.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Jollibee Dallas store will not be opening on Wednesday, Nov. 29,” CeCe Xue Associate PR said in a statement Tuesday.
On Wednesday afternoon, Jollibee announced a new opening date for Friday, Dec. 1. After what feels like years of anticipation, the community is ready to try the new Dallas location.
The company has not provided any further explanation for the reason behind Jollibee’s postponed opening.
A “sneak peek” for the restaurant’s opening was postponed to opening day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Hopefully this is the last time Jollibee’s opening will be delayed.
