Operated by active-duty and retired firefighters, the 50-year-old museum offers a glimpse into Dallas’ fire station history. Firefighter volunteers will guide guests through the family-friendly exhibits during event hours.

Visitors will see antique treasures like “Old Tige,” a steam engine which served the City of Dallas from 1884 to 1921 and served as Engine 1 in the downtown area. Attendees will observe fire engines from the 1920s, fire equipment, original helmets, uniforms and historical material from various decades.

Children can try on kid-sized firefighter clothing, interact with exhibits and snap photos with Santa. As a Christmas gift, children will receive a fire helmet and safety keepsake for attending.
