Hopefully, the Legislature is so busy with other important topics — killing child molesters, allowing homeowners to shoot first and ask questions later — that it won’t get around to casino gambling, as mentioned here a couple of weeks ago.
But if it does, I would commend this piece in Sunday’s New York Times about Atlantic City’s problems to each member. If Atlantic City, where casino gambling is supposed to work, is having so many difficulties, what makes anyone think the concept is going to work better here?
