Several local schools are advancing to the state round of the Destination Imagination competition.
On Feb. 12, 96 Dallas ISD schools and 164 teams participated in the regional competition at Skyline High School. The competition allows students to present creative solutions to challenges in science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
Overall, 18 DISD teams are advancing to the state competition, which will be held at the University of Texas at Arlington in March.
