Called The Peak Inn, the building at 132 N. Peak St. was a former Tex-Mex tamale restaurant that relocated to Bryan Street in March.

The bar will serve beers, cocktails and shots. A small food menu with dishes like a meatloaf sandwich, a pizza pot pie and a spinach dip will be available alongside the drinks, CultureMap reported.

Renovations at The Peak Inn are almost complete, and it is set to open in early to mid-November. The space will feature covered windows that create a dark, cozy atmosphere, a game room with a pool table and arcade games and a large TV.

The bar’s owners are Marc Hooper and Joel Morales, who co-purchased Adair’s in 2016.

“I like to say that we were a bar looking for a neighborhood,” Morales told CultureMap. “We want to endear ourselves to the surrounding neighbors in Junius Heights and Peak’s Addition.”
