Hundreds of neighbors and visitors showed up to watch the Lakewood Fourth of July Parade.
This year, the parade’s theme was “The Eras Tour.”
Here are some photos from the event.
Public safety
Dallas police officers and firefighters from Station No. 17 came to the parade.
And members of the Woodrow Wilson High School class of 1970 got to ride on an old fire truck.
Walkers
Woodrow, J.L. Long Middle School and First Baptist Academy were among the schools represented.
Walkers were also publicizing the Lakewood Home Tour, and there was a group from Chamberlain Studios of Self Defense.
Golf carts
Some of the golf carts were decked out in patriotic colors or decorated with signs for neighborhood organizations and sports clubs.
There was even one made to look like a jet.
Cars, bikes and everything else
We saw classic cars and sport cars, motorcycles, bikes and vehicles pulling floats, trailers and Rocky.
