If you attended last week’s Woodrow Wilson High School playoff basketball victory against McKinney North, you might have recognized a famous face in the crowd: the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Anthony Randolph, a 2007 Woodrow graduate. There’s no guarantee tonight’s Regional Quarterfinal match against Kimball will bring out the celebrities, but the game itself is likely to be a barnburner.

As Woodrow super alum Kyle Rains pointed out, Kimball came from behind last year to defeat Woodrow by five points in the playoffs and eventually wound up winning the state championship. Tonights game is at 7:30 p.m. at Sprague Field House, 3606 S. Westmoreland.
