Woodrow freshman Sam Shaw receives his first-place medal.

Woodrow Wilson High School freshman Sam Shaw took first place in the Dallas City Golf Tournament May 5 at Tenison Highlands. Shaw shot a career low 77.

Junior Johnny Cochran took second place. Clint Joaquim took seventh and Joey Larsen was eighth.

Their coach, Tom Crabb, is a former Woodrow parent and 1971 Woodrow grad. He submitted these pictures via Kyle Rains.

The 20th annual Tim Brown Woodrow Wilson Golf Tournament is Monday, May 23 at Tenison Highlands. It was rescheduled from May 2, and there are still spots available. To sign up, contact Sam Harrington at 214.558.0582 and fill out an entry form.
