On Monday, Amber Kelley of Belmont Addition took this photo near Velasco and Greenville avenues and posted it on Nextdoor.

Commenters on the social media site suspect it was the same marsupial, Muggsy, that delighted neighbors six months ago when it escaped its owner and hopped down Vickery Boulevard. After all, how many pet wallabies can there be?

The wayward wallaby wasn’t on the loose for long Monday. After it shimmied under a fence and into a backyard, neighbors called Dallas Animal Services.

The owner, who frequently visits Lower Greenville, picked it up and took it home to the ranch where they live.

As Belmont Addition neighbor Jeff Friesen said on Nextdoor, Muggsy clearly wants to live here. Can we blame him?
