Mudsmith on Greenville Avenue is closing Sunday after nearly seven years in business, a barista said.
The location opened in 2013 in a rustic, yet modern, space at 2114 Greenville Ave.
It served craft coffee and fresh sandwiches, including the pastrami on rye and the jalapeno meatloaf.
The Mudsmith coffee shop at 3111 Welborn St. in Oak Lawn will remain open.
A barista at that location said the Greenville store is closing because of lack of business and competition with La La Land Cafe, which opened across the street in March.
