Woodrow Wilson High School junior Aden Shank created a business plan for his invention, the Cheer Launcher, in teacher Tom Crabb’s Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship class.
And it was a hit. He won citywide and regional competitions with his invention and plan. And he was invited to a national competition in New York City in October.
When we profiled Aden in the August Advocate, he had just been awarded $1,000 and had been invited to a two-week entrepreneur summer camp at the University of Texas at Dallas. Now he is gearing up for the trip to New York, where he will compete for a $10,000 prize.
