Early voting started today, leading up to Election Day on May 6.

Dallas City Council and Dallas ISD Board of Trustees seats are on the ballot.

District 9 and District 14 comprise the bulk of East Dallas, while District 2 encompasses neighborhoods such as Deep Ellum. The City of Dallas underwent a redistricting process last year; check which district you live in using this map.

Paula Blackmon is running for reelection in District 9, facing off against Kendra Madison. In District 14, incumbent Paul Ridley is challenged by Amanda Schulz and Joseph Miller.

Jesse Moreno is asking for another term to represent District 2 on the city council, with first-time candidate Sukhbir Kaur also running.

Eric Johnson is running unopposed for Dallas mayor.

The District 2 seat on the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees is up for grabs. Kevin Malonson, Jimmy Tran and Sarah Weinberg are seeking to represent campuses including those in the Woodrow Wilson Feeder Pattern.

Here’s when you can vote early:

8 a.m.-5 p.m. April 24-29

12-6 p.m. April 30

7 a.m.-7 p.m. May 1-2
