The shop will be located in Lowest Greenville, at 1806 Greenville Ave., near Swizzle and Via Triozzi.

It’s coming soon, according to Voodoo’s website, but no opening date has been set.

A spokesperson for the company told The Dallas Morning News, who first reported the news, that they hope the location will eventually stay open for 24 hours each day.

The doughnut shop, which was founded in 2003, sells more than 50 flavors of donuts, and about half of them are vegan.

A few menu standouts are the bacon maple bar, which is topped with maple frosting and bacon, and the Memphis Mafia, fried dough with banana chunks and cinnamon, topped with glaze, chocolate chips and peanuts, and drizzled with chocolate and peanut butter.

Voodoo Doughnut now operates 17 locations in six states as of this year. There are stores in the Houston area, Austin and San Antonio.

Since Voodoo Doughnut started, it has gained national attention, featured on the Travel Channel, the Cooking Channel, Good Morning America, The Today Show, The Tonight Show, Wheel of Fortune, Portlandia, Leverage and The Amazing Race, among others.

Lowest Greenville is becoming a sweet-tooth’s dream. Milk & Cream will replace Creamistry, joining Jeni’s Ice Creams, Botolino Gelato Artigianale, La Boulangerie, Joy Macarons and Carte Blanche.
