From 7-11 p.m., customers will receive free scoops of ice cream, and the first 50 people in line will receive a goodie bag.

The new location is at 2012 Greenville Ave. Jeni’s already has one other location in Deep Ellum.

In addition to parlors in 21 different cities, Jeni’s can be found in the freezer section of stores like Whole Foods, Safeway, Central Market and Tom Thumb.

Jeni’s was founded by Jeni Britton, who began making ice cream in 1996 when she was a senior in college. In 2002, she opened her first permanent location in Columbus, Ohio. Now, there are over 65 Jeni’s locations nationwide.
