East Dallas artist Shannon Kincaid is knee-deep in her latest project, Project Starbucks, which centers around one of the Starbucks locations in East Dallas. The project is inspired by the Starbucks culture and idea of the “third place.” (First place is home, second place is work and third place is Starbucks.) Kincaid painted several pieces for the Starbucks in the Mockingbird-Abrams shopping center, and Dallas HD Films recently created a video about Kincaid and her work, hoping to help Kincaid capture the attention of Starbucks Corporate.
