The wine bar opened on N. Henderson Avenue in 2008 and said in a Facebook post it plans to close toward the end of March.

“After nearly 15 years of amazing wine and food experiences, the time has come to raise a glass and close the doors on this beautiful adventure,” the business wrote on Facebook. “This era has been more rewarding, more fun, more meaningful and even longer lived than we could have ever imagined when we opened all those years and experiences ago.”

Before the doors close, Veritas will hold guided tastings and other events, according to the post.

Veritas offers a changing selection of about 400 wines from around the world, including a changing selection of 30 wines available by the glass. In addition, visitors can snack on meats and cheeses while they drink.

The wine bar is a sister concept to Boulevardier in Oak Cliff and Hillside Tavern in Lakewood’s Hillside Village. Brothers Bradley and Brooks Anderson, who are behind the establishments, also owned Rapscallion on Lowest Greenville, which closed last year.

Veritas is located next to Henderson Tap House at 2323 N. Henderson Ave.
