It’s Girl Scout cookie season again.
The new variety this year is Raspberry Rally. Thin and crispy, they are infused with raspberry flavor and dipped in chocolate. These cookies are available for online shipment only.
But the others, including Samoas, Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Trefoils and Girl Scout S’mores, are available for purchase at booths around our neighborhood.
Orders can be placed starting Jan. 13. If you don’t know a Girl Scout and need to find a location to purchase cookies, enter your ZIP code here. Starting Feb. 17, the online search can also be used to find local Girl Scouts and order through their digital platform.
Here are a few places to find cookies this weekend, according to the online finder:
Jan. 13-15: Torchy’s Tacos at Casa Linda Plaza
Jan. 14: Jimmy’s Food Store
Jan. 14: White Rock Coffee on E. Northwest Highway
Jan. 14-15: Froggie’s 5 and 10 at Hillside Village shopping center
Jan. 14-15: Rooster Home and Hardware
All cookies for the Northeast Texas Council are produced by Little Brownie Bakers and made without high-fructose corn syrup and partially hydrogenated oils. They contain zero grams of trans fat per serving and have kosher and halal certification.
Last year, 9,325 girls participated in cookie sales, each of them selling, on average, 288 boxes. Overall, more than 2.6 million packages of cookies were sold.
