Since 2002, comic book stores around the world give away a selection of comics away on the first Saturday of May.
Free Comic Book Day gives fans of the medium something to celebrate. Typically, the selection of free comics includes a shortened previews of upcoming work from some of the most prominent writers and illustrators. The organization has been tight-lipped about what will be offered this weekend, you can find out for yourself at Keith’s Comics.
The shop will be open from 12 to 7 p.m., giving away free comics while supply last.
