Earlier this week, construction workers went back to work at the Lakewood Country Club. This time it was to remove the sign on the brick wall.
In February, the Advocate reported the club was undergoing exterior renovations to its facility.
Some of the work included replacing the brick wall and sign outside of the club, and laying down new asphalt and pavers in the parking lot, according to members.
Neighbors on Facebook began poking fun at the club’s sign as the font lettering appeared to be inconsistent.
“What’s up with the lettering on their sign?” a neighbor commented.

The Lakewood Country Club has not confirmed when the new sign will be placed on the brick wall.
