The business will shut down Dec. 31. It closed its to-go location at 2633 Gaston Ave. on Dec. 24.

In a press release, owner Connie Chantilis cited issues arising from the labor shortage, supply chain problems and costs brought on by COVID-19 as reasons for the business decision. Chantilis said those factors prevented the company from providing the same level of quality it has in the past.

“It’s been an honor to be part of the community and give back to many organizations and causes,” Chantilis said in the release. “We were blessed with amazing clients, and I am thankful for all of the support we have received. I am beyond grateful for the amazing staff that has made up the Two Sisters team over the years. I’ve made countless memories and relationships that I will always treasure.”

Chantilis’ plans for the future include spending more time in her studios and pursuing creative projects.

Two Sisters was hired for weddings, anniversaries, graduations, reunions and holidays, as well as events including the Crystal Charity Ball and those hosted by the Junior League and Ronald McDonald House.

Anyone who has unused Two Sisters gift cards should contact the business by Jan. 31 via email (info@twosisterscatering.com) to receive a refund. Any customers who had events planned for 2022 will receive refunds as well.
