Lidia Bastianich, best known for her syndicated TV shows, including “Lidia’s Italy”, is launching a line of pasta and sauces. And she’ll appear at Central Market on Lovers at Greenville Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to promote the line and sign copies of her latest book, Lidia Cooks from the Heart of Italy.
Bastianich is a chef with three New York City restaurants, a vineyard in Italy and her own TV production company. Besides that, she’s got an interesting life story. Bon Apétit magazine profiled her this month.
