The choral and symphonic pop band, led by East Dallas neighbor Tim DeLaughter, will turn 20 on July 15. To celebrate, the band will play a private requests-only show and provide attendees with a potluck barbecue.

The show is limited to 300 people, and there are only 149 spots left.

If you’re lucky enough to score a ticket to the July 18 show, you will be sent a Google Doc to vote for your favorite Polyphonic Spree, Tripping Daisy and Preteen Zenith songs for the band to perform.

Tickets are $275. The ticket price includes barbecue, hamburgers, hot dogs and side dishes made by band members and their friends.

Attendees will also receive a shirt designed by DeLaughter and a commemorative poster designed by Jennifer Wallace and printed by Austin Green.

If you can’t make the anniversary show, you can still contribute to the band’s fourth album, “Salvage Enterprise.”

The Polyphonic Spree has been crowdfunding the campaign since 2019 to help cover studio costs and touring costs.
