The Grape Restaurant on Lower Greenville is hosting celebrations for customers this week in honor of its 39th birthday. Chef and c0-owner Brian C. Luscher and his wife and co-owner Courtney will host the special events nightly at the neighborhood wine bistro.

Wednesday, Oct. 26: Chef Brian Luscher presents a 3-course menu paired with Chateau de Saint Cosme’s wines at the Chef’s-Come-As-You-Are Wine Dinner. The $45 cost also allows attendees to be privy to the wine knowledge of Alan Unruh from The Country Vinter, who will discuss select wines from an ancient estate in the Rhone region.

Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 27-29: For three days, the 3-Course Anniversary Tasting Menu will be made available to diners for $39 per person or $55 with an optional wine pairing.

Of course, if Sunday morning rolls around too early, stop by for brunch from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and enjoy one of chef’s “eye openers,” such as a prosecco mimosa or spicy bloody mary. Although, chances are, if you ask for a spicy bloody mary, you’re going to want the “Best Burger in Texas” to go with it.
