Robert T. Hill Middle School hosts a Zombie Walk & Blood Drive from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. The Dallas Children’s Theater zombie troupe will make an appearance. Carter BloodCare will be onsite. The event also includes a zombie fashion show and costume contest. The event is free, and T-shirts cost $10.

Speaking of the DCT zombie troupe, the theater’s “Night of the Living Dead” shows through Oct. 30.

The Angelika at Mockingbird Station offers a free outdoor screening of “Psycho” at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, and “Beetlejuice” at 8 p.m. Saturday. The variety group Circus Freaks performs at 7 p.m. Saturday. Guest judges from the Dallas Theater Center will be on hand to decide the winners of a costume contest. There will be prizes for most terrifying, funniest and best overall.

The Greenland Hills Neighborhood Association Fall Festival is from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at Glencoe Park. It features midway games, a train ride, a bounce house, a petting zoo, pony rides, a cake walk, face painting, raffles and concessions. Admission is free. Food and game tickets are 50 cents each, and raffle tickets are $1.

Autumn at the Arboretum runs through Nov. 23. It features 150,000 fall flowers, more than 50,000 pumpkins squash and gourds. It also features Cinderella’s pumpkin village and carriage, Tom Thumb’s pumpkin patch, a hay bale maze and more. Tickets are $8-$12.
