The iconic statues, created decades ago by the late Bob “Daddy-O” Wade, were removed from the bar temporarily while a renovation project is happening.

Ken Robison, who said he worked with Wade in the past, was charged with repainting the frogs. We got a first look at them earlier this month.

He told us that the frogs would be reinstalled at Dallas’ Truck Yard, located on Sears Street near Greenville Avenue, when he was finished. And sure enough, they can now be seen atop the roof of the bar.
