On Monday, April 8, remember, don’t look at the sun, no matter how tempting it may be. Instead, grab a pair of solar eclipse glasses and watch as the moon passes between the Earth and the sun at the Sundown at Granada Eclipse Gala, hosted by Zooby Promotional Novelties.

The Eclipse-watching party will be held at 3520 Greenville Avenue and will benefit Austin Street Center, a homeless shelter in Dallas.

“While people from all over the country are coming in for this and other Eclipse events, we’d love to have it be more local/neighborly, so please consider taking half the day off that Monday and join us,” Brett Kershaw from Zooby Promotionals said on Facebook.

The event is 21 and up, with black and white attire. Attendees can expect an open bar, caviar, hors d’oeuvres, Guinness pint printing, and music performance by Hard Night’s Day.
