Today’s the last day for Starbucks on La Vista Drive.
This part of Lakewood will only be without a Starbucks for about a month, though. On Aug. 21, Starbucks is expected to open a new location next to Sweetgreen, a spokesperson for the coffee company said.
Starbucks’ new home on Abrams Parkway is a 2,850-square-foot space, according to a Lakewood Shopping Center site plan.
In other Lakewood Shopping Center news, Petra and the Beast is planning to open next month in the old Lakewood Smokehouse space. The restaurant closed its Old East Dallas location this month to transition.
The Unleavened Fresh Kitchen space is still vacant. Known for its healthy food, Unleavened closed in 2022 after seven years in Lakewood.
