Get ready to clutch your pearls. The first Shakespeare in the Park performance of the season is — gasp! — not Shakespeare.

The season opened last weekend with Cyrano de Bergerac, which was published in 1897 by a Frenchman, Edmond Rostand. That show runs again, from June 22-29.

Next up is the Shakespeare comedy As You Like It, set in 1930s Spain. That opens June 25 and runs through July 23.

Admission costs $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors. It’s free for children 12 and younger. All performances are at the Samuell-Grand Amphitheater, and they start at 8:15 p.m.
