The Wildcats’ dominance of their district is difficult to overstate. Their closest district games have been 43 point victories over North Dallas High School and Bryan Adams High School this season.

The Wildcats’ 4,257 yards for the season ranks them ninth in offense in North Texas, according to Dallas Morning News. They are led by junior quarterback Cade Fennegan, senior running back Darrion Green, and the twin receiving threats of Justin Cain and Travis West. Fennegan has thrown for 36 touchdowns and a 67% completion percentage this year, while throwing for 2418 yards. On the ground, Green has rushed for 1360 yards this year and has an average of over 11 yards per rush. Cain leads the team with 50 receptions on the year, including the longest reception of the year, at 86 yards. West has piled on 39 more receptions and leads the team with over 18 yards per catch. West is a two-way threat, as he is one of the team’s leading tacklers on defense and leads the team with 2 interceptions on the year. The offensive weapons benefit from the protection provided by standout offensive lineman, senior Urban Molina and junior Chris Juarez.

Woodrow Wilson, which allows only 133 yards and nine points per game, has the top defense in North Texas according to Dallas Morning News. They are anchored by senior linebacker Rance Albert, who leads the team in tackles, and junior defensive lineman Cole McCrary, who leads the team in tackles for a loss. Lucas Woltjen, who is also the backup quarterback, has two interceptions on the year and is a top tackler as well. Sophomore Xavier Gipson leads the special teams, averaging almost 20 yards per punt return and nearly 40 yards per kick-off return.
