An unidentified female victim is nursing a broken arm this morning after being robbed at gun point last night in the Tom Thumb parking lot at 6333 E. Mockingbird Lane. Police are looking for clues that will help identify the suspect, who was captured on the store’s security cameras before committing the crime.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 7, the suspect approached the victim in the dark parking lot and pointed a gun at her. After snatching her purse, he pushed her to the ground, causing her to break her arm. He then fled the scene in a silver or gray Impala.
The suspect is between 5’9″ and 5’11” and weighs 150-165 pounds. He’s estimated to be 20-25 years old and was wearing the distinctive red-and-black hoodie pictured here when he allegedly committed the crime. Anyone with information should contact Detective Richeson at 214.671.3602.
