Well, it didn’t take long for rumors to start flying about what’s going into the space at Abrams and La Vista that Angelo’s Italian Restaurant occupied until a week ago.
We’ve heard from a reliable source that Houston-based Ginger Man Bar has its sights on the Angelo’s spot.
When I called up to the Ginger Man Bar in Dallas on Boll Street to inquire about it, the man who answered said no one could confirm that right now — notice the “right now” — but he gave me the contact for the corporate office.
Ginger Man has six locations, including one in Dallas and Plano. Each location has an outdoor beer garden and serves more than 100 specialty beers, according to the restaurant website. Apparently Ginger Man is believed to be the first multi-tap specialty beer bar in America.
