Food and beverage discounts will be available during the soft opening and all eight screens will be up and running. The theaters range in size from 30 to 180 seats and will be equipped with fully reclining chairs and Sony laser projection systems.

The specialty programming that makes Alamo unique will be on screen as well, though the lineup is still being finalized.

The theater will feature Vetted Well, a bar that is also part of the Alamo Drafthouse in the Cedars neighborhood south of downtown. It will be located at the rear of the theater to be closer to the White Rock Creek trail, which runs right behind the shopping center. A small bike path exists today between the trail and theater, but Michael hopes that he can work with  city representatives to establish well-developed trail access.

The theater’s grand opening is scheduled for the end of March, when prices will return to normal. See more renderings of the theater below.
