Brianah Lynn Blount, 23, has been charged with kidnapping after taking two young children from Garland Road Thrift Store, on Garland near Peavy, at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The kids’ father reportedly left them unattended as he tried on clothes in the dressing room.
Blount reportedly took the youngsters to a Far East Dallas apartment complex.
A resident there alerted police after Blount allegedly told him she “found” the children but had not contacted authorities. Dallas Police located the three shortly after that.
Based on reports, Blount did not know or have a relationship with the children or father. She has been charged with kidnapping and is being held in Dallas County jail on $30,784 bail. She is a McKinney resident, a graduate of McKinney Boyd High School. Police report they had warrants for her arrest on previous minor charges.
The kids are safe and home.
