Pipedream, the smokeshop that was on Greenville for roughly forever, closed a few weeks back. The other location seems to be closed as well, or at least their phones are disconnected.
Jon Hetzel with Madison Partners, the company that owns the property, says Pipedream had been out of a lease for a while, so they were doing month-to-month until Madison found a better tenant for the space — namely, Village Baking Co.
Village Baking has a location on Upper Greenville at University. From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., neighbors can place orders with Village Baking, be it “the most delicate baguette delivered in an hour fresh out of the oven to the largest burger chain needs,” according to their website. They also work with the various market trends — organic, gluten free, etc.
