A sweet, little 10-week-old puppy was found running loose off of East Northwest Highway. He followed several people walking by and just wanted to be held and cuddled. “Ranger” is a male Australian Shepherd. He weighs 6 pounds and is mostly fluffy hair. He is sweet, gentle and wants to play and be held. He is inquisitive,  playful and wants to check everything out.

Ranger will be a medium sized dog reaching 35 to 40 pounds. Australian Shepherds are smart, eager to please and bond strongly with their owners. They require exercise and mental stimulation. They are excellent family pets and get along with kids and other pets.

Come see Ranger and the other adoptable pets from White Rock Dog Rescue this Saturday, June 22 at Gecko Hardware located at Ferndale and East Northwest Highway in the Albertson’s parking lot. We will have both dogs and cats out for adoption and will be there from 10 a.m to 4 p.m.

There is an application process and home visits are done for all serious applicants. The adoption fee is $200 and includes all vaccinations, deworming and sterilization. Pets are on heartworm preventative and are micro-chipped. Please visit www.whiterockdog.org or call (214) 507-4016 if you are interesting in meeting Ranger.
