Saturday was the weekly White Rock Local Market at Green Spot. The 1st and 3rd Saturdays are held at Lakeside Baptist Church at 9150 Garland Road. The 2nd and 4th Saturdays are held at Green Spot at 702 N. Buckner.
Clothing, jewelry, accessories and housewares made by Texans were on display, as well as a bounty of locally-produced food, including farm-fresh produce, olive oil, bread, cheese, popsicles and coffee. The market is full of friendly folks eager to meet shoppers. It’s also very dog, bike and kid-friendly! Check out their website for more.
