Mushroom Street Farms is having its grand opening in Deep Ellum starting at 11 a.m. March 29.
The business, located at 2929 Elm St., offers farm-grown mushrooms, artisanal mushroom-based products and educational experiences, according to a Mushroom Street Farms press release.
The grand opening will feature a weeklong celebration through April 5 with exclusive specials, tastings and interactive experiences.
Mushroom Street Farms will soon expand to include a dedicated workshop and demonstration area in its Deep Ellum space for mushroom cultivation classes, chef-led tastings and educational events.
“Mushroom Street Farms has always been about more than just growing mushrooms—we’re educators, community partners, and passionate cultivators,” Mushroom Street Farms co-founders Andrea and Warren Gwartney said in the press release. “Deep Ellum has been so welcoming to us, and we can’t wait to give back by creating a space where people can explore the beauty of mushrooms, connect with others, and enjoy something truly unique.”
Mushroom Street Farms has been active at the Dallas Farmers Market and also operates an urban farm and laboratory in Arlington.
