Next month, Morton’s The Steakhouse will close its Downtown Dallas location and open a more contemporary version of the restaurant a bit closer to our neighborhood, in the Uptown area, at 2222 McKinney Ave.
The new Morton’s will open Feb. 24, according to a press release from Morton’s Restaurant Group.
“The 8,500-square-foot Morton’s Uptown will feature Morton’s ‘newer look,’ with exterior LED signage and a lighter, more inviting restaurant interior and will have a total seating capacity of 244 … Morton’s Bar 12*21 offers the Morton’s Gold Standard experience for guests who want an exciting and energetic bar atmosphere for cocktails and dining.”
That bar menu will include scrumptious-sounding Smoked Salmon Pizza, Crabcake BLT, and Morton’s existing mini Prime Cheeseburgers.
The Downtown Morton’s will stay open through Valentine’s Day.
