Lakewood resident John Vaughan says he was attacked by five baseball bat-brandishing men at a stop sign in the 7000 block of Wabash Circle last weekend. If you live around there, you’ve undoubtedly heard the story, as Vaughan told NBC 5 he is passing out fliers, posting online and broadcasting the incident in every way he can think of.
When the men came at him, he says, he rammed his car into their car and they ran. Police are looking for the suspects’ damaged four-door burgundy Chevrolet.
